I had always thought that Personal Trainers were only for younger, fitter people, it was a bit daunting to consider as I was almost in my mid fifties. I was worried that it would be too difficult and that I wouldn't be able to do it.
Nothing could have been further from the truth; exercises were tailored to my age and fitness level yet were sufficiently challenging to enable me to enjoy them and to get the results I wanted. Russ encouraged and guided me both throughout and even after the sessions I attended. I had been attending gyms and working out for ten or more years and whilst it was enjoyable I felt that I was having to constantly work very hard simply to maintain my weight and fitness level. The sessions with Russ taught me how to work smarter and harder and enabled me to drop a dress size and to shed over a stone that just wouldn't budge no matter what I did. All this in just eight weeks! The combination of more specifically targeted exercise and lifestyle/dietary management provided during the training enabled me to achieve the goals we agreed on at my initial consultation. I am, obviously, very pleased with the results and feel very pleased that I have achieved my goals.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Russ as a first class Personal Trainer on the basis of his proven track record and my own experience.
